Hello and welcome!

We're Joel and Gretchen, a couple in our early 50s embarking on an exciting new adventure. We created this little corner of the web, tashact.life, to share our journey and connect with our community.

Right now, things are buzzing as we prepare for a big move! We're planning to relocate on May 16, 2025, and we couldn't be more thrilled. This move also coincides with another happy milestone – we're celebrating our first year of marriage around this time! It feels like the perfect moment to start fresh and document this new phase.

While this site will certainly capture some of our personal experiences and updates (especially around settling into our new home!), we also hope it becomes a place for community connection. We're passionate about our neighborhood and want to explore ways we can all contribute positively.

In the future, we plan to share information and ideas on topics important to us and our neighbors, such as:

• Constructive approaches to addressing the homelessness situation in our area.
• Exploring the possibility of organizing a neighborhood watch group to foster safety and communication.
